Laughter echoes, memories remain.
Of childhood moments, pure and plain.
Chasing butterflies, wild and free,
Catching fireflies, just you and me.
Summer days, long and warm,
Ice cream cones, a sweet form
Of joy and happiness, untold,
Moments of childhood, worth more than gold.
Hide and seek, behind the trees,
Tag, you're it! Laughter on our knees.
Piggyback rides, on daddy's back,
Mom's warm hugs, a love so packed.
Childhood moments, fleeting fast,
But memories linger, forever last.
A time of wonder, a time of glee,
A time of childhood, wild and carefree.
So let's hold tight, to these moments dear,
And cherish them, year after year.
For childhood is, a magical time,
A time of dreams, a time of rhyme.
