In need of comfort, a gentle speak
Their tears bring sympathy, understanding eyes
But when boys cry, they're met with surprise
Society tells them to "man up"
To hide their emotions, never erupt
Boys don't get the same care
Instead, they're met with a cold stare
Why must tears be gendered so?
Why can't we just let our feelings flow?
To cry is human, not defined by sex
Let's break the stereotypes, rewrite the text
Boys should be allowed to feel
To cry, to heal, to let emotions peel
No more mocking, no more shame
Let's support each other, end the game
So let's challenge the norm, change the view
Boys can cry, girls can too
Let's embrace our tears, hold them tight
