It was a beautiful evening; the waves danced to the tune of the gentle breeze that was blowing around the beach. I got my legs wet strolling in the waves and decided to rest a bit, looking towards the crimson red sunset at the horizon.
A girl, approximately 5 years old, was engaged in the construction of a castle in the sand, as well as a tunnel leading to it. She had done with the castle but was unable to complete the tunnel; the sand was crumbling down. I saw her trying for at least ten times.Sometimes she sat thinking with her chin resting on her fist but never gave up. In between, she looked at me and smiled. The sun shifted its course to rest and waited for her to finish.
Walking into the waves, she collected water in her little hands and poured it to tighten the sand. She repeated a number of times.At last the tunnel was done. The joy on her little face was the highlight of the day. I still remember that innocent, cute smile of success. The sun was halfway through the sunset, and beautiful lyrics swept through my mind.
"आती हैं आंधियां तो कर उनका खैर मकदम।
तूफां से ही तो लड़ने खुदा ने तुझे गढ़ा है।
ये मत कहो खुदा से मेरी मुश्किलें बड़ी हैं
इन मुश्किलों से कह दो, मेरा खुदा बड़ा है।"
