This is a friend's very first poem .....I think she did a great job. On this snowy morning It's pertinent to give thanks To the good things that are flowing And the love that stands On this snowy morning I think On the penitent souls That dodge what we feel And struggle to grow ©Charlie Mont 2025

Over my head I had no clue When you asked me To teach you to rollerblade No clue, That you would have stayed I had no clue When you visited Every single weekend No clue, You wanted more than a friend I had no clue When you had said You were sleeping in my bed No clue, That you wanted me instead I had no clue My response was No that's where I No clue, That you wanted to - bleep! I had no clue Right over my head But thanks to our friend He brought us together - Thanks again ©Schizology

My My head is like a pinball game Bouncing from side to side Jumping up and then down It takes me on an amusement ride My mind is like a race track Thoughts travel round n round Frequently hitting the barriers So often that I've lost count My brain feels like it sparks Ready to spontaneously combust At any moment an explosion Will leave me with just dust Thoughts like a jack in the box, Turn the handle and surprise At the point of no returning This is what thinking comprises There may be a meltdown My reactors will burst The confusion will leak Unless I can get it reversed ©Schizology

My pet The first time seeing him I knew Nothing could be more true This dog would be a loyal friend too The bond increased as he grew But not just any dog He could lead you through fog A smart and wise animal The greatest and best pal A protector and good at it His attitude was never quit Always there by my side Happy and his eyes very wide If I was feeling down He would turn me around He was never ever mean And he has never been He enjoyed time with me With anything that I could see Chasing a frisbee or ball He did not mind at all Swimming was his favourite Baths he wanted no part of it It was sad he had to depart I wish I could go back to the start I can see him now running around A better place he now has found Until we meet again one day He still is the number one stray ©Schizology ©Schizology
