White नये मकानों को ढूंढ रहे हैं, अपना घर छोड़ने के बाद। गैरों पर ऐतबार बढ़ चला हैं, अपनों का साथ छोड़ने के बाद। काली रातों की ठंडक अच्छी लगने लगी हैं, दिन में जलते सूरज के ताप से तपने के बाद। मोड़दार रास्तों के आदी हो चुके हैं, सीधे पथों पर चलकर भी खोने के बाद। गुमनाम होने में मज़ा आने लगा हैं, कभी महफ़िलों की शान होने के बाद। उम्मीद की लकीरें कोरे कागज़ों पर भी दिखने लगी हैं, उम्दा हर्फ से सजे किताबों से नाउम्मीदी के बाद। ©Ruchi Jha

Cold thoughts The snow has fallen again This time it will stay A white blanket covering all Soon frosty will come out to play Snowmen appear in yards Corn cob pipes too A touque on top of their heads A carrot for their nose to include Shoveling the snow begins Snowplows all around But darn it , why do they have to Refill what was already shoveled out?
