Poetry 2 A poem can be A thought suddenly It can happen anytime You think to yourself That could be a line A poem can be An event in your day Important enough Your brain thinks That's okay stuff A poem can be Remembering things A pet, friend or family You begin to write Of fond memories A poem can be What about tomorrow? Dogs 2 They are so loyal They stand right by Always ready to foil Plans from bad guys Standing on guard Any day or night It seems so hard But ready to fight Always protective Of ones they love Like a detective Examining stuff Anything unusual They will know Just like a tool Their nose shows Unconditionally And devoted They love fully It should be noted A best friend They have style Just one look You must smile Gifts from above They have purpose To spread love To the rest of us ©Schizology
