A poem can be
A thought suddenly
It can happen anytime
You think to yourself
That could be a line
A poem can be
An event in your day
Important enough
Your brain thinks
That's okay stuff
A poem can be
Remembering things
A pet, friend or family
You begin to write
Of fond memories
A poem can be
What about tomorrow?
When I'm more grown
You ponder silently
A verse of the unknown
