"White Mom, I want to hug you but i won't as I'm afraid Mom: oh dear ,why? Afraid I might cry as I can't go back to being two again to Giggle & fight in your arm all night Now that I'm 20 and have responsibilities to fulfill, it scares me mommy What if i disappoint you? What if i couldn't succeed? What if i couldn't make you proud? What if all the money drawns? What if i fail you ? what will happen then? Would you still see me as the same ? Would I still be your golden kid ? Would you still believe in me ? Oh all these thoughts are so heavy And Everytime I want to hug you These thoughts begin to haunt me Making me feel unworthy of your warm embrace . ©Alisha"
