Once a poet wrote a beautiful love poem & he made several copies of that. He sent that to his friends including both men & women, and also to a young woman whom he had met but once. That lady's village was in the mountains, few miles away from the poet's residence.
The poem was well appreciated & within a couple of days a letter was sent to the poet by that woman saying, "Let me assure you, I'm deeply touched by the love song which you have written for me & in the passionate way you've shown your love. Come now & talk to my parents so that we can make arrangements for the betrothal."
And the poet replied to the letter, "Don't be serious my friend, it was just a song of love out of a poet's heart which is sung by almost every man to every woman. Don't take it the other way."
And for this she wrote again to him saying, "HYPOCRITE & LIAR in words !! From this day unto my coffin-day I shall hate all poets for your sake."
