October 29th 2024 It's now just past six am A dog is barking quite proud Music is playing on my phone Too early to have it loud Cars are moving on past Traveling to their destinations Some stop at the coffee shop Mornings start with caffeination There's a skunk wandering A couple people have seen it Probably just looking for food If it comes I will give it a bit The rain is falling now a little Not long ago it was very hard Splashing and dripping away Puddles now all over the yard ©Schizology

White The air grows crisp, the leaves take flight, October whispers in soft twilight. Golden hues in the fading sun, A season's end, a journey begun.
