The television has a constant image of your programs
Outer limits and X-Files were two of your favorites
They only penetrate inside, replaying our circumstance

The dog used to right between us or at our feet
He missed you as well, and I think he would agree
Without you around, I really have nothing to see
It was you and only you, that had what I would need
Eating meals are so inanimate, very boring and tiring
Looking across the table and seeing an empty chair
When it used to be you there I was always admiring
