White Monday 6:30 am 2022 Sitting outside at night Listening to the sounds Crickets are quite loud The geese too I found Honking like a horn Geese flying by noisily Chirping like an alarm Crickets creeping eerily A sound from nearby Rustling of some leaves A nocturnal creature A mouse it may be Cars traveling past One, two then three A few more now To where they need Birds are singing now Blue Jays and others A high pitched one Ruffling its feathers Cars, birds and geese And something tiny near Is what I listen to at six am Random things to hear ©Schizology

Five am 2023 Five am Birds are awake Singing their songs They all sing along Five am Chilly morning A rabbit in the grass Gone now in a flash Five am Engines running Cars speeding on by It's a Saturday, why? Five am The moon is alive Shining up in the night Down to us very bright Five am Now it feels chilly I have on a jacket But I still can't hack it Five am I'm getting shivers I'll end my cigarette And inside I will get ©Schizology

After four in the morning 2022 Sitting here at quarter after four I woke early, couldn't anymore Crickets chirping outside the door Smoking a cigarette in the night I can see the brightness of a light From a house, it shines very bright I rolled one and I smoked it slow Let the creative juices begin to flow What comes out , I don't really know I write as the thoughts start tumbling In my brain sometimes it's mumbling Often my thoughts create a rumbling As usual I am the one awake first I made a coffee to ease my thirst It's not too bad, I have tried worse I will conclude this poem very soon I'm going to go listen to some tunes I am chilly and I'm going to my room ©Schizology

I wrote this about three years ago At seven am There's very little sound outside Traffic heard in the distance Noise made from workers nearby They must be very cold right now But they are braving it somehow Sounds of coyotes were quite loud Only lasted only a few seconds Now gone but it was very eerie They and the foxes roam at night A photo would be good alright Pushing of the snow by the trucks Loading it up to haul away To take it outside of town When it begins to thaw and melt It drips and runs off somewhere else The birds I can hear are waking up To start their morning songs Chirping they all take turns Singing melodies of their love Just like the pretty morning dove ©Schizology
