Missing a friend A pet that is quite unlike any other Unconditional love they always give Beside you through thick and thin The perfect roommate with you to live They miss you deeply when you leave Fifteen minutes to them is an eternity When you return they are so delighted They leave their mark on us eternally When you must say goodbye to your friend It is the hardest thing ever to endure Flashes of them replaying in your mind You will forever remember them for sure Time goes by but their memory never fades Times spent with them you never forget A wagging tail when they seen you waking up The most amazing compadre you've ever met Remember the good times spent with them Running after butterflies and chasing their tail Watching them as they catch a tennis ball You'll keep their thought forever without fail ©Schizology

A soda It was late at night He awoke from his He was eight or nine years old He felt strange and uneasy So he walked to the living room His mother was watching television She was drinking soda He asked for a drink Something about that sip Made him calm and relaxed Suddenly he felt tired He couldn't figure it out Why that drink was special He went back to his bedroom And laid back down Over forty years later He still remembers The best drink of soda ever ©Schizology
