July 24th 2021 Quiet and still No one is awake Silent and calm A poem I will make A fresh breeze Not very strong Just enough To help me along A fountain Is very near Water flows Clearly I can hear Someone walks Down the street Maybe the same And can't Light a smoke Relax a bit On the bench Is where I sit I could walk To the yard Smoke a joint It's not that far It's so good Legalization East to west Money for the nation Some will grow A few too So much better And safer it's true I prefer A social toke Two good friends Laugh and joke Time to end My poem here Roll a joint And I'll say cheers... ©Schizology

I write 2021 I'm sitting outside while I write In a couple hours it will be daylight Rain has been falling overnight Now everything is wet in sight The chill in the air has a bite Cover up in your blankets tight Seeing this weather will not excite But I have a hot coffee to my delight The caffeine gets my brain to ignite In my head I read over and recite Maybe I can give a bit of insight My stomach feels like it's in a dogfight Perhaps its time to tend to my appetite My belly sometimes is not very polite I will end this and I will take flight As for now I will go back inside ©Schizology
