A mother, she claimed. A lost son, I embraced. Life separates the lives here and there. I still miss you, mother. But still without you.. I'm afraid. To your thoughts, I whispered. I run from you in every corridor. I wish you could ask or scream or even remind me that you're only a step away from me. In the battles I fought, I won them all, still you weren't there to cheer for me. The battles you fought, I was there, in the shadows, in the flare.
