To be humble is to be kind,
To put others first in our mind.
It's to listen and to understand,
And to lend a helping hand.
It's not about being meek or weak,
But about being strong, yet meek.
It's in the way we treat others,
Our sisters and our brothers.
To be humble is to know our place,
And to act with quiet grace.
It's in the way we speak and act,
And the way we interact.
It's in the way we learn and grow,
And the way we let our ego go.
To be humble is a great virtue,
One that we should all pursue.
For in humbleness, we find strength,
And in kindness, we find our length.
So let us be humble every day,
And let our kindness light the way.
