In search of happiness, I roam,
Through fields and forests, far from home,
The sun on my face, the wind in my hair,
I seek the answer, but it's not there.
In the quiet of the night, I listen to my heart,
Its beat a steady rhythm, guiding me to start
A journey to find the joy I seek,
And leave behind the sorrow that makes me weak.
I climb the mountains, I cross the seas,
I wander through the cities and the trees,
And in every place, I find a piece
Of happiness, a moment of peace.
Sometimes it's in the laughter of a child,
Or the beauty of a sunset, wild and mild,
Or the love of a friend, steadfast and true,
That fills my heart and makes it anew.
So I keep pursuing, though the road is long,
And sometimes the path is rough and wrong,
But I know that happiness awaits,
And with each step, I get closer to its gates.
For the pursuit of happiness is not in vain,
It's the purpose of life, to live without restrain,
To find the light that shines within,
And let it guide us, to happiness, our kin.
